Good Evening,

This past week has been really busy and the weekend was the same. But, at least I got to have some fun with all the craziness. I was able to put some knitting time in this weekend. I finished a Darrell Waltrip (D.W.) wash cloth. It was a bit tricky for me at first, but then I got the hang of it. I have some ideas for some gift giving this year. We'll see how it goes. School is keeping me pretty busy and my knitting is keeping me sane (watch those comments - ha). Let me introduce you to our little boy, Groucho. He is such a delight. It's fun having youth in the house again. The little mouse he is playing with was a gift from Rusty. Rusty lives with his Mom, Gabi, in Germany. Groucho and Noodles (our little princess) correspond with Rusty. Groucho was kind enough to share one of his mice with his cousin Jasmine. I couldn't finish this post without sharing a picture of a birthday celebration with childhood friends. It was a great dinner and the company is so very special to me. The class of childhood friends I have from school are very special people. Most of us have stayed in touch and have known each other for at least 45 years. Happy Birthday to all my special friends this year.


It's been a long day and my sleep deprivation is catching up with me. Happy Monday to all!
