Happy Friday to All!
It's been a long hard work week so now it is time to have a nice long play weekend! Is this weather crazy or what? Yesterday I had some laundry on the line out back. I was taking it down when I heard the birds singing. I went and filled up the dish bird feeder and I think I could recognize their song, "Hey, the old lady put dinner out for us." ha I do have a cardinal couple that come to dine everyone once in a while. Our weather is so CRAZY! I wish we could do a dance and get some rain! The hot coffee is goooood tonight.
I've been asked "How do you pronounce Gubbio?" It is very easy - goo-b-o. And there you have it. I was thinking of that the other day. If you were to look on our maps of Italy you would see Rome, Florence, Venice and Naples. But, in Italy they are Roma, Firenze, Venezia and Napoli. Go figure! It's a good thing we didn't screw up any of the food's names.
Any way you spell it Vino is a word known to all for WINE.

On the Norwegian maps we are lucky to find Roma, Firenze, Venezia and Napoli :-) No translation of names here :-) Have a nice week-end.
A friend and I looked it up in a book of Italy--we found it on the map and saw more photos of it. Looks so lovely.
Those old chianti bottles were very romantic werent they - alwyas on tables with a candle in them...
