Ohhh Baby It's Cold Outside!

We have been waiting for this weather since last December. Now it is here. This is the kind of weather that we dream up to enjoy with a warm fire and curl up with a good book. Well, I have the fire and my knitting instead. I made a special trip outside to feed the birds. I walked right up on a pigeon eating from the ground. As I look out the window I can see icicles on the edge of the house across the street. I didn't think we got warm enough for any water to melt off the roofs.

It appeared that cable was having a little problem this afternoon. It didn't last long, amen. I can't imagine how it would feel if the electricity went out. Brrrr! I hope you are all safe and sound.
