A Spot of Tea for Me

Ciao! Thank goodness it is Friday and this day is over. Quite a busy day. Work is done, the hair has been coiffured, and now a spot of tea is in order. I am having some new tea I bought last night at Borders. It is Pomegranate Green Tea from The Republic of Tea. Pomegranates are great antioxidents. I'll be honest with you - it is good. I would say it is like drinking a watered down warm cherry Kool-Aid. So it would be good hot or cold.

Speaking of Borders. Last night the SitStitchNorman group met, like always. It was so much fun. I had a good laugh. The kind you don't have very often. The kind that you are wiping tears away from your eyes. I wasn't alone. I was joined in laughter by Kay. I felt bad for Rosemary - she didn't see what Kay and I saw and thought she missed something I said. It appeared rude on our part so we clued her in real quick. AND I will say that I wasn't alone in my thoughts. I just hope he is there the next time we meet. LOL And trust me - I will be looking! ha

Hello - my name is Terri and I am a tea drinker. I had some Honey ginseng last night. I found this pretty tea pot at Tuesday Mornings, plus it was on sale! It wasn't chipped or nicked either. On the bottom it says " Maidliche il Bargello, Florence, Italy". So many times ceramics are painted like this but they are made in China, Mexico or Portugal. I would love to buy more ceramics from Gubbio - but it is so hard to have them shipped here and arrive in one piece. I will have to post some pictures of the ceramics of Gubbio. I have a few pieces. They are treasures.

Yes, it is February 24th and I have two daffodils blooming. What's up with that? Would you believe that just last weekend our highs didn't hit above freezing for a few days? I think these two will be in a vase in the house before the weekend is over.

Tomorrow is Knitty Committee and there are some really interesting ladies there. Two hours goes by so fast when you are knitting and chatting. Buono Notte (Good Night)

I'm going to have to try that tea. I have the perfect cup to drink it in! In fact, I could coordinate my cups to my clothes, huh Terri?? lol

I also am a tea drinker. I collect whimsical teapots (which I never use) and regular teapots I use a lot. There's a lot to be said for people who drink tea, have cats, and knit!

And I'm not going to even ASK about Kay's comment - lol!
