STASH!
If you are a crafter then most likely your eyes will light up when you see the word STASH! I now officially have a stash of yarn. I still have a stash of material from quilting (which I will pick up again). A very good friend of mine, Jackie, called me last night and said to come over and check out the trunk of her car. It was filled with bags and bags of yarn. Some of the yarn is from Germany, Russia and of course, Hobby Lobby. ha We sorted through the yarn and asked ourselves what would you use this for? We came up with our own ideas. I am thinking much of this yarn stash will be used for a charity project our guild will be working on this year. I wish I could show you a special spool of thread. It has the beads already on it. I can imagine using it in a scarf or wrist warmers. The picture didn't come out very good.
The small box in the back of the stash is all angora! This is just a sample of what I got today. Now a question for my fellow knitters. What type of pattern is good to knit with mohair?
The Olympics are over and the closing ceremonies have been interesting. Bouno Notte!

I just realized today at work that I will be making a baby afghan before the summer. I usually crochet them. Now I have yarn to pick from for it.
Mohair is good for shawls.
Oh, I love stash building. : )
I can't wait to see the baby afghan begin to progress....that is if we aren't too distracted by Greek Gods in Norman. : )
