Spring has Sprung a Much Needed Leak

The rain gauge in the back yard says we got 1.5 inches of rain this weekend. That's Great! Still we are not out of the fire ban yet. Spring officially comes tomorrow and we have freeze warnings for next week. This is the independent variable I have been waiting for to cut the tulips and daffs to bring into the house. (Or, would the freeze be a dependent variable?) If someone can figure this part of statistics out for me - please let me know. ugh!
