Tulsa Road Trip

We had a wonderful rainy weekend, with thunder and lightening! So whats a better time to hit the road for a short road trip to Tulsa to do some Knit Shop Hopping? Kay, Rosemary and I braved the torrential rains to drive the turnpike to Tulsa. Okay - Kay did the driving but we were there knitting and keeping her company. Once we got to Tulsa Chimi's was calling us for lunch. It's always yummy.
Why is it that I always remember to take the camera with me = but then forget to use it when we are somewhere? Oh well, I did catch a few pics of our Knit Shop Hop.
If you are in Tulsa - stop at Utica Square and shop at Loops. You will enjoy it.
Shopping at Wild Oats is always a treat. And now a new tradition of stopping at the Coney I-lander is on the list. Here's a picture of our loot in the back seat.
We had a wonderful time visiting with other knitters and each other. Definitely have to plan another road trip in another direction. Hmmmm Dallas isn't too far. ha
Ciao!

I think I should have some vote on pictures. Did you have to get a shot of my butt??? lol
Is that better? I'm afraid of fair play. ha
That sounds like a really fun trip. What a good idea. I would Love to visit the Wooly Ewe in the Dallas/Ft Worth area if you ever plan to go that direction!
Even in the pouring rain it looked like you had a great time. Good friends, yarn, who could ask for anything more!
