Dinner with Friends - Priceless
I took a few days off last week and dined with friends in EAST TEXAS! If you've never been through East Texas you are missing some really pretty countryside. I especially like the way it reminds me of East Pennsylvania and childhood vacations. I also like driving down the Interstate and seeing little country roads off on the side. You know the kind that disappears into the trees and various other foliages. I could just hear the road calling me and yet I continued to head on down the highway in the HAPPY CAR! I love being on the open highway with the CDs playing and of course singing along with the artist - Beatles get me really going. I had a childhood friend that use to tell me - "Terri, they made hundreds (that's how long ago) of dollars singing that song without your help." (Right Jan?) And no I don't care who sees me - I'm in the Happy Car and we don't care about things that don't matter.

Dinner was great. This is the Roseville B & B. Melvin and his wife are the owners. They have such fun managing the B &
B. Dinner was excellent and they shared recipes, flower seeds, history of the home, and other various stories. The coffee was so smooth.
It is always a pleasure to visit with Maggie and Rand E. We have such a great time. They are truly wonderful people that I am so blessed to have them in my life. Maggie and I collected Poppy flower seeds for our gardens. I hope they survive what ever winter we have next year.
Plant now and enjoy later. Aren't those flowers gorgeous! Melvin believes in sharing information - a practice he learned from his elementary school principal days. The big secret to this gorgeous garden is rabbit poop! He went to the feed store and asked who buys the most rabbit feed and called them, they struck a deal and off he goes to get his fertilizer.
Just a ways down the road was this adorable little cottage. I thought I saw Snow White nearby.

Doesn't this look like bliss?
