Sunday Lunch with Mom

Last Sunday, during the Memorial Day weekend, I brought my mom over for lunch. We dined on the patio with the song birds singing to us. The meal was simple but yummy. The weather was absolutely wonderful. We had a nice long visit which doesn't come to often these days with my busy schedule. Then we watched the finish of the Indy 500. I must tell you that I think this was the first time I have ever done that.

The entire weekend was great. Even though DH had to work, I was able to write school papers and get some gardening done. Since the rains came last week I think our green bean plants have grown three inches.
