Favorite Movies

I must be in the movie mood this weekend. So, I am wondering..... do you have a favorite movie that you could watch over and over again without ever being tired of it? I have a few...

#1. McLINTOCK - John Wayne, Maureen O'Hara, Stephanie Powers and Patrick Wayne.
I can give your several quotes from this movie.

#2. The Quite Man - John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara. The classic musical tone in this movie stays in my mind.

#3. White Christmas and Holiday Inn. Bing Crosby. I like them both very much. I only found Holiday Inn once I was married - 31 years ago. I had never seen it before then.

#4. It's a Wonderful Life - Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed. Juju petals. Every time a bell rings, an angel gets his wings.

#5. It Takes aThief - Cary Grant and Grace Kelly. He is soooooo handsome.

#6. Pillow Talk - Rock Hudson, Doris Day and Tony Randall. "Pillow talk, pillow talk....."

#7. Come September - Rock Hudson and Gina Lolabridgida. He owns an Italian Villa - lovely scenes.

#8. Bishop's Wife - Cary Grant and Loretta Young. He can be my guardian angel anytime.

#9. Charlie Brown Christmas - love the music.

#10. (Still to come)
DH doesn't always understand why and how I can watch these movies over and over again. He'll tell me - "You've already seen it before."

I can't believe it! I read this to my husband and he said I must have written it. I know it has your name but it is ME. The only other movie I could think of is "To Kill A Mockingbird"

And I love "Heaven Can Wait" with Julie Christie and Warren Beatty. I know I have others but can't think of them right now.

I have so many favorites I don't even know where to start. Everything from the Muppet's Christmas Movie to the first Star War Trilogy to Triple X to the original Godzilla movie. Then there's the Marx Brothers, James Bond (with Mr. Connery), and The Court Jester. Pretty eclectic mix.
