We should live in trees...
It has been so very hot here for the last 2.5 weeks. The air is so dry the leaves are drying up and falling. I thought I wouldn't have to rake leaves until November. But, a quick job of mowing the lawn took care of it. I stepped out onto the patio this morning and it was nice and cool (76F) with a breeze. The leaves on the trees were rustling and calling to me = "You should live up here. The breeze is wonderful!" Ahh trees.
During my pedicure yesterday - we should all pamper ourselves at least once a month, I was reading Knitting Rules, by Yarn Harlot Stephanie McPhee. I discovred that I am an "Organic Knitter". (Sounds right to me since I am an Aquarian.)
"Organic Knitters are all about the process. Occasionally organics are that rare breed of knitters known as the "multi-crafter", moving surely among weaving (no), crochet (yes) and knitting and ofther combining seral approaches. Organics can be identified with certainty when you overhear the phrase "No, I didn't swatch - it will fit somebody." This is the line that nailed me! (Right Susan?) ha
Busy weekend - yarn sale, lunch with friends (more laughter), knitting, niece's wedding and it will be a party, school paper to finish (I think I can do it now) and painting Mother's house. I need to go back to work to rest. ha
*A very special thank-you to the British Intell Community! Hip Hip Hooray!
