Knitter's Tea Swap 2

I spy something brown and square.
It's THE box from my Secret Pal in the Knitter's Tea Swap 2. Miss Jenny from Georgia sent me a wonderful box full of goodies. She even visited here to learn more about me. I'm impressed.
I was sorta like the kid opening presents. I wanted to wait and enjoy the anticipation of opening the box.

Once I did I found a note from Jenny explaining the contents.

Here is the BIG picture of my goodies.

Jenny's letter told me of some interesting stories about the contents of the package.

1. There are about 400 g of Patons Dianna. I don't know how she knew this is my favorite color of blue. It is so soft. The sweet story behind the yarn is that it belonged to a woman who was a long time knitter. She had planned to use this yarn and others in her stash for her knitting retirement. Alas, she went blind and couldn't knit anymore. I hope I can do her proud.

2. The book "Girl's Poker Night", a novel of high stakes - looks like fun. If Jenny only knew that during my card playing time I do NOT have a poker face, I lose it everytime. ha

3. The TEAS - Here goes the list.

Blessed Botanicals - Wassil Tea & My Mountain Roots. Check out the website. She picked these up while on her Anniversary honeymoon. Now how thoughtful is that?

The Republic of Tea - J Garcia - Shady Grown Tea & Magic Herb Tea (no comments Kay or Karen!)

4. A Tea Bee Tea Infuser - too cool! It has a bumble bee on top and a bee hive on the bottom. Perfect for loose tea. Also a small jar of Bonne Maman honey.

5. Cookies - Potato Chip Cookies - Sweet & Salty Shortbread. I've never seen this before. And some Dean's shortbread rounds.

6. Lotion - some Olay body lotion and some Bath & Body Works Moonlight Path. How did she know I am a moon child. (Really an Aquarius).

7. A rose made out of dried palm leaf.

8. I saved the Best for Last. This took my breath away when I saw the container of Anise Biscotti!!!! Homemade I might add. I have accused her of being Italian too. I haven't tried to make these. I wonder if she will share her recipe. They are so good. I didn't wait until after dinner to have one. I guess I know what I will be having with my coffee and teas.

Whew! Thanks again Miss Jenny, I truly appreciate it all. I hope your Secret Pal spoils you rotten too. I hope we can do this again in #3 (with different partners, of course). ha

Ciao!
