I drove by this house in Nichols Hills yesterday and it just jumps out at you with the pageantry of Autumn. The gates are painted Williamsburg Blue, the pumpkins and gords sit on a bail of hay below a window box of sweet potato plants, the Virginia Creeper Ivy grows over the wooden shingles and the lace curtains in the window let you know there is a sweet smell of spices inside. The front of the house is decorated the same.
I think the pictures in my last post were misleading. They are pictures from Gourmet Yarn NOT the goodies for my Secret Pal on the Knitters Tea Swap 2. (Sorry). I did purchase some yarn goodies yesterday and I hope she likes them.
Ciao - Don't forget - along with the simple pleasures of Autumn comes the running noses and constant allergy sneezing.

I wondered what you were doing when you were out of your car walking down the street yesterday. : )
You are gonna get a reputation. This is 2nd house I've seen you taking pictures of.....lol
Charming. Like you I also stop to take photos when I see something which captures my heart. Like the window you can see in my blog today :-)
