Knitting Spirits are among us!

I was up bright and early for my post-op eye appointment. I was the second person there waiting to see my Superman doctor. I sat down and pulled out my knitting. Soon a lady brought her elderly mother in for her appointment. She looked about the room and then called over to me and asked if I was knitting a Seaman's Scarf. I muttered out a "Yes" with a most dumfounded look on my face. Then I replied, " I guess the ribbing gave it away." She said she is making one for her husband and we compared our scarf notes. By the way - if you see her husband wearing a Seaman's Scarf that has a "lacey" lapel - don't say the word "lace". ha We came up with a cover story about this is what the Irish Seaman wear......
This is the site for the pattern. Thanks Jackie for the site.

Come to find out we both visit the same Local Yarn Shops! Knitting Spirits - we are out there. Next time you see one stop and say hello.

Pies are done, Pumpkin Trifle done, Yams are done and the appetite continue to grows.
Happy Thanksgiving!
