As Anniversaries Go

It was one year ago today when I created this blog. I was going to school and wondering why did I do this as I thought it would take up a lot of my time. It turns out it is very simple to do, I enjoy doing it and I like the creativity that comes with it. I hope you all enjoy it too.

Since the first anniversary is paper and a blog is equivalent to a journal, and a journal is sometimes called a diary, and Brigitte Jones wrote in her diary about Mark Darcy (Colin Firth) in a red book with pages made of paper, could we consider this blog to be the electronic version of paper? Would you believe the 3 degrees of a blog? ha (Only Kevin Bacon has 6 degrees.)

This is the picture I started with January 16, 2006. The church is San Giovanni (Saint John) in Gubbio, Italy. My cousin Francesca was married in this church. I would have loved to have been there, not only to see an Italian wedding but, to see how beautiful Francy was that day.

Still cold here today - didn't get above freezing. Would you believe we have some of the same weather coming again this weekend? Yup, I better go to the store and get the few things we need to make life pleasurable this weekend, such as movies, cat food, milk, and chocolate!
