Be careful what you ask for....

Yes, I asked for it. But in all fairness, I wanted snow! The white stuff you see here is ICE and it is slick! We are expecting rounds 2 &3 later today. We have power at this time and are very grateful for that.
Because if we didn't have power we wouldn't have Trader Joe's Banana Bread. Very good with real butter and coffee.

We all have our ways of amusing ourselves during times like this. Primer is having fun playing with his mouse(yellow object on rug). Then I think he decided it was nice and warm under the rug and decided to stay there for a while.

Today will be filled with cleaning off the desk, straightening up the house and making chili. Everything is so very still outside. It is very peaceful. Looking outside last night was kind of eerie. The lights were reflecting off the ice and everything was bright.

I must place a public apology to the birds in my backyard. I ran out of bird seed and I am trying to find things around the house that I can feed them. I just plain forgot when we went down the pet food aisle in the store the other night. Please forgive me.

Ciao!

I'd believe Primer wanted to be warm under the rug IF he didn't have the cool tile on his belly! lol Miss Lexi is curled up on her blankie sleeping thru all this mess.

Go to www.traderjoes.com to find the store nearest you. Unfortunately, we don't have any stores near us. So the airlines have become very familiar with my check in luggage and carry ons.

yes, feeding the birds is so necessary now, not to mention FUN and entertainment to combat cabin fever!
