The more things change.....

the more they stay the same. Here's a picture from long ago, can't really say how many years - I'm afraid it will freak me out. (I am on the right.) This is how our winter's used to be. Weren't we good girls Jan, for cleaning off your parent's sidewal? I'm sure we didn't get paid for it - it was just something kids did back then. I still have those mittens. My Aunt Agnes knitted them.

And today cleaning out the bird feeder. Primer thinks he needs to help me.

Do you remember the winter lunches of a bowl of Campbell's tomato soup and a tunafish sandwich? Hits the spot everytime.

DH was dear and cleaned this mess off my car. I'm waiting for him to come home and tell me what the roads are like out there. It's back to work tomorrow.

Do you remember trying to find the longest icicle when we were kids? I think these still have some growing to do.

Stay warm and cozy, knit if you can, read a good book if you have one, cuddle with a loved one, or think of the good old days with happy thoughts.
