Oh, the weather outside if FRIGHTFUL!

This is a picture of what a winter storm should look like in all it's beauty. We are under a Winter Storm Ice Warning. It is already hitting in some parts of the city and the state.

We went to the grocery store last night to pick up some things - ended up doing a major shopping spree. I have never seen so many people at the store before. We asked a lady in the parking lot if we could stalk her for her shopping basket. It took us an hour and someone in the parking lot said it was like this everywhere.



This the weather map for not only today, but for the entire weekend. We are stocked up with food, water, candles, firewood and plenty of knitting and reading to do. I pray we don't lose power.

This is a picture of what I am afraid will happen. Slowly schools are starting to close.
I don't think our cats will be going outside much today.

Wishing you all a warm cozy day. We got some Mannheim Steamroller hot chocolate last night. I am thinking of enjoying a cuppa later this afternoon.
