I'm on VACATION!
FRIDAY, MARCH 16TH
We'd like you all to met Matt. (Shh! we really think it was Anderson Cooper in disguise.) He was brave enough to sit with us on the train. Actually, I don't think he had a choice. However, I did try to warn him that we planned to have Jan sit next to him for the 4 hour trip. Funny thing happened on the way to Ft Worth - it turned out to be a 5 HOUR TRIP! He was a very good sport and we know he missed us on his ride home Sunday evening.
My vacation was started off to be a great vacation last Friday. You know how I am about my circle of friends, well, the "Knitting Ladies", as I call them, were off to Ft Worth, Texas to shop for yarn. Emily, Anita and I met downtown at the Oklahoma Heartland Flyer train to begin our 4 hour trip (didn't Gilligan's trip start out that way???). We were dumbfounded to learn that the train was completely SOLD OUT! There were tons of school kids everywhere - oh yeah Spring Break started. Duh! We sweet talked the ticket master into letting us save extra sits for our other compadres we were picking up at the next stop. Here is Emily and Anita - Choo Choo here we go.
