Bread & Butter Gifts

Bread and Butter Gifts are the thoughtful gifts that friends bring to you when invited for dinner, lunch or a party. We had some friends from Macomb, IL stop by on their way to Texas. We had a nice dinner and a really good dessert. My kindred spirit has a Janome sewing machine (Dear Santa, I would like a Janome for Christmas!). She made these dish cloths on flour sack cloths. She said they were to be used. Huh? I don't think I heard you correctly. USE them - that will be the hardest part for me to do. I am thinking of another display for them, at least for a little while.

I had to show them off to my friends and they just loved them. Such gifts are so thoughtful and very much appreciated.
