The Queen sends her best

Here we are! This was the crew from Oklahoma City that went to turn London on it's head. We were at the airport on time and were waiting patiently when our tour director, Lee, showed up at the gate and did not look happy. Come to find out the AAirlines cancelled our flight to Chicago. With some work on the AAirlines part they got us a plane and we were only 30 minutes late. Once we got to O'Hare we walked briskly to the next terminal which was on the opposite side of the airport - aren't they always? Once we got to the gate I realized I left my coat on the other plane. I inquiried about it and yes they had it, but it looked like I would have to get it on my return flight. Resigned to the fact that I would have to buy a new coat in London I was quite surprised when a flight attendant calls out my name. I look up and he has my coat. I think all six of us were smiling and I was one happy camper.
We made it. We took pictures of the other tourists that were waiting for tour contacts and they took our picture. It only took us about three hours to get through customs. Seems like everyone was landing at the same time. Of course, Heathrow is open 24/7.

Do you like "our" pub? We called it that because it is were we had our first lunch. The waiter/bartender refered to us as "luv".

Okay, I don't follow European Football (Soccer to us), but Chelsea will be my team. Our hotel was located right in front of their stadium. Space is one thing they don't waste in the UK.

Our hotel was tucked away off the street next to the football stadium. It was very nice, but the rooms still seem small. I don't know how they don't have more bathtub accidents. The bathtub is very deep and I bet a nice long soaking bath would feel great. But, who had time - not us!
We exchanged our money, had our lunch and needed a nap.
Next: We visit the Niemann Marcus of London - HARRODS
Ciao!
