HAPPY 100TH BIRTHDAY OKLAHOMA!

You're doing great Oklahoma! OKLAHOMA - O-K-L-A-H-O-M-A!
I am watching Oklahoma on PBS with Hugh Jackman as Curly. I wish all Oklahoma Cowboys looked that good. This will be my Centennial celebration.
Oklahoma is a GREAT place to live and I am thankful that Mom and Dad came here in 1946 from Ohio. I was born an Okie, but raised by Yankees. Not only did we not have white gravy at dinner - we never had white gravy! Mom did fry OKRA and we all liked it. However, she NEVER put a hard boiled egg in her giblet gravy like Okies do.
Oklahoma is a low cost of living area compared to other places in the USA. I almost ( I said almost) hate to see new business come in because it raises the cost of living. Oh sure a lot of other advantages come with new business and we must have a future for our children, must int we.

So HAPPY BRITHDAY OKLAHOMA! Let's get moving on 100 more.
Ciao!

I was so sad to miss everything, being in Tulsa at a meeting. But yay for 100!
