POST CARDS FROM THE EDGE
Post cards from the edges of the world that is. My summer collection of post cards from friends and family were sent from Catherine/Ontario Canada, Britt-Arnhild/San Felice Circeo Italy, Beth in Michigan-who was a great knitting swap partner, Gabi/Germany, The Morgans/vacationing in Colorado, Freda & Keith/vacationing on an Alaskan Cruise, Dagmar/vacationing in Cornwall England, Suzanne & Tom/vacationing in Minnesota, Pam & Jim, attending a convention at the Gaylord Texan on Lake Grapevine, and again Pam & Jim/vacationing in Gatlinburg Tennessee.Britt-Arnhild was so lucky to vacation in Venice again. Her vacation travels always sound so wonderful. I can imagine her dinners cooked in her rented flat. She walks through the local markets and purchases her delicacies for dinner.

My peeps went to Baltimore, Maryland, to enjoy a Fiber Fair. They had such a great time. I missed them, but thank goodness they were only a cell phone away. I was afraid to ask them too many questions because Karen's sentiment was that if I asked her anything about the trip - she would have to kill me. HA Yeah Right - Ewwww, I'm shaking in my boots. LOL I knew it would be dangerous for me NOT to be with them. It seems like a five year knitting travel plan was developed while the four of them were together. So much yarn so little time, as Jan wrote.
I enjoy getting post cards every summer, actually any time of the year. It's just enough to know that your family and friends are thinking about you. It always puts a smile in my heart and earns a place of display on the refrigerator.
Ciao!
