2nd Anniversary Celebration

Yesterday, 16 January 2008, was my second anniversary for the Bella Gubbio blog. I celebrated with a lot a hooping, blowing and stripping off the clothes. Yes, it was quite a sight to see.

I have a cold or the flu. I called it a cold when all I was doing was coughing, hacking and blowing my nose constantly. Then I decided it was the flu when the chills and fever came on. It was not a fun night last night. Today I feel somewhat better. At least the fever and chills are gone.

I looked into the Internet with all it's wise wisdom and truths and found out that the Traditional 2nd Anniversary gift is COTTON! Yes, thank you very much since I have totally wiped out one big box of Puffs. The anniversary gemstone is GARNET - funny thing, that is the color of my nose right now. The flower is COSMOS, which has a meaning of modesty. HA Not me last night. I was stripping off the sweats the minute the fever came on.

I won't bore you any further - I now plan to go lay down and see if there is anything worth watching on TV OR if there is something that will lull me to sleep. A nap never hurt anyone.
