Tasha Tudor - A Legend

I am a fan of Tasha Tudor. I remember reading about her in an old Victoria magazine and then learned how to make purchases of her books on eBay. She passed on yesterday at the golden age of 92. Tasha lived on her farm in Vermont. She mastered several things, spinning, gardening and weaving to name a few. I am a huge fan of her children's books. They are still sold in book stores and have the most intriguing illustrations.
I am fortunate to have two of her prints framed and hanging in my living room. You've seen this one before. I have another one which is waiting for a proper home. Now that thought will be taken more seriously.

Her work will live on for a very long time. If you are ever at the bookstore - check out the children's section and look for Tasha's books. I think you will enjoy them.
Thank you Tasha for sharing your life and work with us.
Ciao!

I didn't realize that she died! One of my most vivid childhood memories was sitting in my grandmother's house looking through the glass doors of a bookcase full of Tasha Tudor books.

I'll give my Corgi a special petting tonight.
