THE HAPPY CAR RIDES AGAIN

Remember my story about the Happy Car? It was an analogy I learned in college about how we look at life or how we live our life. Yea, kind of like the "Is the glass is half empty or half full?" and as the cartoonist Larsen says - " I ordered a cheeseburger!" ha Anywho, Sophia has been the Happy Car for the last week or so. The music blaring out of her sweet stereo system is the soundtrack from MOMMA MIA! This movie is so much fun that you can't help but sing along and want to dance with the characters.
I love the way the Greek people were used in the film. They added such a special touch to the movie. Oh, by the way, I've seen this movie five times since it came out in July. It's always been with "other friends" each time and once alone - that's how much I like it. The songs are so infectious to sing and the characters in the film are so funny. I have seen and heard something different each time.

Now IF by chance you have been reading my blog and know the history of "my crush" you must be telling yourself - "I bet Colin Firth is in that movie." B I N G O! YES! YES! YES!

His role is of a gay man that doesn't realize he is gay until he meets someone in the movie. He plays a very starchy Brit and does it very well, but during the movie you can see his role, Harry, start to lighten up. AND once again, since Pride and Prejudice, he is seen in a wet shirt and then no shirt at all. Okay, I'll stop now before it gets too embarrassing for you. ha

Highly recommend this movie and the soundtrack. I listened to ABBA when I was in high school but the movie/play puts a fun twist on their music. Enjoy!
