A is for Autumn and Simple Autumn Pleasures
October gave a party, the leaves by hundreds came.
The chestnuts, oaks and maples - their costumes all aflame.

Autumn mantel decorations will take us through Thanksgiving. Which reminds me - Happy Thanksgiving Canada!
I love the burgundy color mums. I've been watching this mound all summer waiting patiently for the blooms.
A splash of color under the lilac bush makes me think I should see fairies dancing around it.
