Isn't She Lovely......
Just wanted to show off another shawl I knitted. This one was for my sister for her birthday. I used Shaeffer cotton yarn, Florence Nightingale colorway. The green, blue and purple colors are very vibrant. It looks great against black or denim colors.
This is a close up view to see the colors and pattern. It's an easy drop and garter stitch row pattern. Mindless knitting as far as the pattern goes, but I can't knit something for someone without thinking of them the whole time.Enjoy your birthday and think once or twice of your favorite younger sister (me).

Wanted to let you know that I have begun to knit again..... of course I have had to rip apart my start of just a plain little scarf 4 times but it has been so relaxing to sit in the big chair with a glass of wine and a little "sex and the city" on and knit away.
