Falling Leaves Scarf

This pattern is called Falling Leaves. It really turned out lovely in this soft blue silk yarn by Lang. It is so soft and nice to knit with. This was my first completed lace knit piece. Now I think I can move on to other lace knitting.

The scarf is in the blocking process. I like using this striped beach towel because the stripe lines help me keep my pieces straight.

This is what the scarf looked like tucked nice and neatly into the box that carried it all the way to New York and to my cousin Ada Marie. She has received it and loves it. For some intuitive reason I kept thinking of Ada while I was knitting the scarf. She called and told me that it goes perfect with her new navy blue coat. So there you have it.....
