A Mother's Job is Never Done

Primer jumped off the top of a pick up truck a few weeks ago and tore his ACL on his back leg. Lucky for him and us no bones were broken, but he still required surgery. We also discovered that he was three pounds overweight. When he came home we had a new bag of the weight reducing cat food waiting for him. He took right to it. I think between the new food and him being laid up he was able to lose those three pounds within 10 days.

He's recovering very well and is ready to go out into the world, so he thinks. We have a different thought on that. The recovery period is set for six weeks - 2 down, 4 to go.
