Our Beloved Groucho
It is with a very sad and heavy heart that I share with you the loss of our
beloved Groucho. He was one of the sweetest cats/pets that we had ever had the pleasure of being a part of our family. I was backing out of the driveway last Monday night to go get gas and felt something. I looked up to see Groucho running off. I pulled back into the driveway and got DH. I found Groucho laying down on the sidewalk. I picked him up and we went to the Emergency Vet and was there within 20 minutes of it happening. He didn't look good and he was fading fast. Within an hour it was all over. We miss him terribly and Primer and Axel are lost without him.

This was one of his favorite sleeping places. Curled up in a wooden bowl.
Helping us during harvest. He was a great supervisor making sure we did it right.
Peek-a-boo! He loved getting into a box. But, what cat doesn't?
Posing with his brother Axel. I think this is a gesture of telling him "I am the Alpha Male in this house." (He really didn't have satanic eyes - it's the lights and the camera - but then you knew that.)
Rest in Peace Sweet Groucho - we are still lost without you rubbing up on our legs or telling me to get up at let you out.
Ciao il Gatto!
