Vacation - Pennsylvania, New York, Conn, home

I am on vacation on a trek to see family and friends. It seems like a long time but there are so many people to see. I haven't seen some of them in over 24 years and some I am meeting for the first time.



Thursday - 14 Oct - I drove to St Louis on a beautiful Autumn day. (I know you aren't suppose to capitalize seasons - but they look so much prettier when I do.)



Friday - 15 Oct - Drove to Dayton. I called my cousin Sal and his wife Marilyn. They are driving to Oklahoma from ? We hooked up on I-270 in Illinois. Can you believe it? Got a book on tape for the journey - glad I did.



Saturday -16 Oct - Drove to Pittsburgh - the long way. I got off the beaten path and almost wished I hadn't. This part of Ohio is just stunning in the fall. The road was two lanes most of the way. I felt better once I got on solid U S Interstate ground again. Later this evening I met a cousin for the first time, Santina. We went to dinner and had a wonderful time! We are definitely related.

Sorry no pictures yet. They will be coming; which reminds me I need to change the battery in the camera.

Lots of life going on between the last post and this one. Mostly getting ready for this trip.
